As well as offering private dental services, AR Smiles is also pleased to to provide NHS Services. We treat NHS patients, operating within the current NHS charge bands. These services offer the same high-quality general dentistry care offered to private patients.
Some patients do not need to pay for NHS treatment, and you can find out if you are entitled to free NHS dental treatment here.
Certain treatment aesthetics like veneers are not available on the NHS unless the dentist feels they have a clinical need. They are not available for cosmetic reasons.
If you are interested in cosmetic treatment with AR Smiles, we can discuss that with you, and provide you with a separate treatment plan and costs to consider.
At AR Smiles, we do provide a small amount of NHS orthodontic treatment.
NHS orthodontic treatment is free for people under the age of 18 with a clear health need for treatment. But because of high demand, there can be a long waiting list.

A rating system called Index of Orthodontic Treatment Need (IOTN) is used to assess your eligibility for NHS treatment. The British Orthodontic Society (BOS) website has more information about the different grades used for the IOTN.
